Lower School Bocce

If you want to bring people together for a calm, yet competitive game, PLAY Bocce !    I am SO proud of Lower School students who are all learning the sport and playing at different levels. Bocce requires skill, patience, as well as team work. Bocce is a "life time sport" that all age groups can play. Be sure to watch the videos to see the communication skills being built while discussing the scoring system.  : )

Yesterday was the most exciting work day! Not only is SPEED STACKS an activity that spans the ages it also helps with reading and math. Cups are used from left to right which simulates reading patterns. Both dominant and non-dominant hands are used which means using both brain hemispheres. Exercises fine motor skills and increases Hand Eye Coordination. The list goes on!  Your children all played with their own set of cups to learn patterns then participated in different games and competitions. It was an AWESOME day!
